I Can Tell A Story
Being able to tell or retell a story helps children understand what they read, which is a Narrative Skill.
- Talk to your child about what you are doing.
- Read a book you have read before and let your child retell the story in his own way while you listen.
- Ask your child to tell you about a picture she has drawn. Listen and ask, "What's that?" or "What's happening?".
