Local History Resources
The Local History Collection, housed in the Oakville Room at the Central Branch, is a growing collection of research materials unique to the history of Oakville and it's people. It consists of print, microfilm, historical newspapers, maps and online resources documenting the history and development of our community. Access to the collection is during regular library hours. Identification such as an Oakville Public Library card may be required to access some reference items.
