Some of Oakville Public Library’s online research collections may be accessed on iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch and Android devices using an app called AccessMyLibrary.  Using GPS, AccessMyLibrary will locate our library and give you access to over 60 eCollections containing millions of articles.  You can search these eCollections simultaneously or separately .  Download the app from iTunes: AML of from Android Market: AML Public Edition.

New technologies can make learning so much easier  and much more fun! This is particularly true of language learning.

There’s a multitude of choices available now from the library: CDs to listen to while you commute, audio books for downloading to your iPod or MP3 player,  language databases such as Mango and Little Pim that allow you to listen to and follow along with the text at the same time, practise conversation and playback to correct pronunciation.
