Learn a New Language on your iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch

Learn languages everywhere you go with the free iTunes app called Mango Mobile Library Edition.  To access, you will need a valid Oakville Public Library card, an account with Mango (set up through the Mango database accessed on the library website) and an iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch running iOS4.  To get started:

1.  Go to www.opl.on.ca, then click on the Research tab.

2.  Click on the link to Mango Languages located on the left side of the page.

3.  Log in with your library barcode and PIN (last four digits of your phone number).

4.  Create a profile with your email address and a password.

5.  Mango will email you a link to activate your account.  Click on the link to activate.

6.  Install the Mango Mobile Library Edition app from iTunes on your device. 

7.  Open the app, select a language (there are 34+ and ESL courses!) , download as many lessons as you like and start learning!
